I don’t see any direct disadavantages of a backpacking holiday as holiday for me is always good and fun. If you compare to join a tour, I would state that you have to plan your trip… but planning is quite fun as I spent a lot of time of planning but at the end, I can completely throw it away ha ha ha ha ha… I don’t feel like I waste my time but it just happened…
Compare tour and backpacker, I would remember where I went and which rest. I ate when I was a backapacker but if I joined the tour, I didn’t have much memories after it… so begin from two years ago, I decide to not join any tour. I in charge my holiday
